Competition rules

The MedPi Awards recognise the most noteworthy products in each category, evaluating their technological innovation and ability to stimulate the market.

All manufacturers and suppliers taking part in MedPi Iberia can submit entries to the MedPi Awards.
Each exhibitor may submit up to three entries amont all categories, except those exhibitors that have contracted Enhanced Listing that will be able to submit five.
Those products which represent something new on the market and those products introduced on the Spanish consumer market within last six months will be given priority.
Entries must be submitted via the MedPi Iberia website through the Exhibitor's Portal and must include:

Name of the product
Category for which the entry is submitted
A description of the technical characteristics of the product (600 characters max)
A minimum of one and a maximum of three images of the product
Optionally, a document (pdf, word,…) with product information

Entries must be submitted to the organisers by 11 May 2012
Candidate companies shall be responsible for the accuracy of information contained in submissions. The organisers disclaim any responsibility whatsoever for the the same.
The organisers reserve the right to disseminate information about the candidate products, except at the express request of the exhibitor company.

The MedPi Awards Jury, comprised of senior members of the IT consumer channel, will select three finalists in each category. In case of equality between products, the jury will be able to select up to five finalists in each category.
The jury reserve the right to declare the prize null and void if the products candidates do not represent the selection criteria.
The organization will inform to the finalists well in advance.
Exhibiting companies whose products were finalists of the MedPi Awards must hand over the product to the organization by 12 p.m. on 4th June. The finalist products can be given to the organization:

The MedPi Awards Jury will meet at MedPi to select the winners in each category.
The winning products will be announced during the MedPi Party, which will be held on the night of 6 June. The trophies honouring the winners in each category will also be presented at this event.
The organization will inform the trade press of the winners of the MedPi Awards.
Any aspect of the competition not included in these rules shall be determined by decision of the organisers.
